Returning for another look
Hello friends

I last looked at OpenCOBOL about 2 years ago, it was close to compiling our code base, but had critical errors with nested sub programs and other GLOBAL/EXTERNAL storage issues.

I've popped back for another look, but the 1.1 download is still back at 2009. I've looked in the FAQ for another location but can't find one.

Is there a download link or a source repository I can get a later version from, to see if these issues have been resolved? My problem was on the 'to do' list, apparently :)

Thanks

The dev-versions are currently not public available.

I found your VERY GOOD problem description and sample and rechecked it.
With latest public release the problem still exists, but it was solved some time ago.
With the dev-versions this problem is solved, but I have no idea when Roger will release it to public.

Re: Returning for another look
Thanks

That's at the same time, quite exciting whilst also disappointing that the fix is not available yet :(

It takes me a while to get back into OC each time as the software product I'm compiling comprises over 110,000,000 lines of code (yes, over 110 million COBOL lines) and it takes a while to arrange a test!

If there's no release schedule or patch availability, I'll check back some time later.
