Using the opencobol parser In addition to my previous posted question about RMCOBOL i am also considering using the opencobol parser to do some transformations to my cobol code.
My question is the following: How well documented and programmed is the parses? How long do you think is the learning curve to do anything usefull with it? One of the most important things in my work will be to conserve comments and structure whenever possible, do you think it will be possible to store this information in the parser? thanks |

Re: Using the opencobol parser I have used yacc in the past doing some work in my university studies. although it was some years ago i still retain understanding of the concept and syntax of a grammar.
I am no guru but i am at a good starting point. |
